Manchester Terror Attack

You notice that after tragic events the people turn to God as their rock of hope.

It’s hard to imagine Richard Dawkins or Christopher Hitchens offering such words of comfort. All atheists can say to grieving parents is that their child has been extinguished like a candle, never to be seen again.

God has not given up on us.

He is the conqueror of sin and death.

Bishop Egan:

I’m shocked and saddened by the suicide bombing in Manchester my home city. Let us offer Mass for the victims, injured and their families

Fr James Bradley:

Prayers for all those injured or killed in the attack on #Manchester. It is utter and unconscionable barbarism to attack children.
